Brian is an experienced, passionate leader on a mission to leverage digital fabrication technology for the transformation of K-12 education.  Previously he served as the Manager of Instruction for the GE Brilliant Career Lab, a curriculum centered mobile FAB Lab serving Boston area public high schools.  A classroom STEM teacher for eighteen years, he also designed and led the Gilbert Innovation Hub, an integrated maker space at the heart of a Title 1 STEM elementary school.  During his career Brian has founded an equity centered youth leadership organization, worked to train new teachers at the collegiate level and provided professional development on inquiry centered project based learning techniques.  He is currently the Chief Consultant at BKB Education Consulting in Nashville, Tennessee, where he focuses on integrating digital fabrication into traditional instructional models and spaces.
