Blue collar jobs are now digital New Collar jobs incorporating technologies like CAD design, laser and CNC machining, robotics, 3D Printing, microelectronics, AR/VR, and more. While specialized training is required, these jobs that lead to well-paying, engaging lifelong careers often do not require a college degree.
This strand will demonstrate how the New Collar Network has disrupted traditional workforce training by developing and implementing new models that grew out of the project-based learning in Fab Labs.
